Nope, it’s not a scoop on the content on Dubya’s big speech come January. In fact, it has nothing to do with our re-elected president or allegations of electoral fraud or new cabinet posts or anything like that.
It’s just me, soon to be us here at M4L getting our new blog off the ground. Blogger.com gives us 500 characters to describe the blog, and I did the best I could, but in all honesty I’ve never been all that fond of soundbytes. I thought that the inaugural post might be a decent way to give more detail about what this blog will contain — and then I realized that I have no idea what it might ever
contain, specifically. That’s because this blogreally is about life : How we live it, what we choose to do with it, where we’re going
with it, and all the infinite variations that comewith incarnating as a human being on this dizzy globe.
So sometimes we may talk about Dubya, and that gives us a rich field of play in religion, politics, and usually humor. Other times we’ll be talking about transcendence, transformation, and personal evolution (getting “Dubya” and “evolution” in the same paragraph scored huge bonus points for this blog entry). Then there’s just life — how do you get through it day by day? Night by night? And if you can’t make sense of it, how do you at least live in it gracefully?
It’s a mystery, it’s always a mystery. Skipping to the end for a sneak peak not recommended.
Quote of the Day: Words ought to be a little wild, for they are the assaults of thoughts on the unthinking.
– John Maynard Keynes
