RIP Jerry Falwell

After sober consideration, M4L&L has pulled the church sign graphic that was posted in response to news of Rev. Jerry Falwell’s death.

In retrospect, I have to agree that my disgust with the man’s ideals ought to die with him. By posting that image as I did, I was pouring salt in some fairly raw wounds for those who are genuinely grieving his death. I did not and do not agree with the late Rev. Falwell’s positions on almost anything, but his death has saddened a lot of otherwise good people, and it was truly insensitive of me to take such a cheap shot at the expense of his family.
